can you stream "new releases" using netflix?

No big ones, like Iron Man or Tropic Thunder. Those are usually 5-6 months down the road.

Go to netflix.com, click on the "Watch Instantly" tab, mouseover the "Genres" tab and a menu should magically appear with "HD" as one of the options.

Apparently this option comes up after you have the update going and Netflix activated. It's there now.

Parties are basically group chats. i believe you can have up to 8 people in a party, and you don't have to be in the same game. all 8 could be in a different game.

you can chat with friends, all while being able to jump to and from games together. It's basically some of what Sony wanted to do with Home, but without the bloated virtual world stuff.

Didn't you hear? You're not allowed to complain about the sheer "genius" of an update that blocks out 75% of the theme images you and I paid for.

I thought someone from MS said we could use our old themes. Well we can use them, the top 40% of them, but its damn near useless. Oh well, I guess the themes we paid for we soon be replaced by new NXE themes for a nominal fee. Money grabbers.

Absolutely loving the new update. I'm only have one problem and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? While scrolling through the friends, if theres a party together I hit A to view all the characters. When I press B to back out, it'll hang for a good 20-30 seconds. I even had it compltely freeze twice.

Other than that, loving all the features. With the Netflix feature, going to drop my plan down to the 1 out at a time unlimited I believe.

yep, I've had my 360 lock up in the dashboard more than I ever had before. Maybe it's just a day one thing, as their servers are getting slammed, but they should have expected that.

i need to buy the larger hard drive...looks like 2 games is pretty much the max on the 20 gig. had a question (since i'm not tech savvy): how easy/hard is the process of moving your stuff over from one hard drive to another? what about gamertag information being transferred? also, what use does the other hard drive that's not being used have now? thanks for any help!!

I'm in the same boat. Gotta get the 120-gig drive.
Shame 360 wasn't like the ps3 and you could buy any hard drive you want.

Well...so far I'm really liking this new udate (except for using your own pics). I was able to get the update with dial-up.....it took a year but I got it...lol.

The only problem I'm having so far,for some reason I'm not able to get the 2nd part of the download (when you go and create your avy) It just stays on the dloading screen forever and the green bar doesn't even move.
I know dialup is slow.....but it seems to me something is wrong on M$ part here...could the servers STILL be congested??

What worries me most about this is,if for any reason there's a patch I need to get,I won't be able to get it,because it won't let me get the last part of the update.

I installed Fallout3,and I don't think it was any kind of placebo..but the graphics looked sharper and more defined....the game looked awesome before,but I could tell a difference right away.
As far as load times,it appeared to be about the same,I wasn't able to notice any real difference there.
