If it's done, I wish they would release it early instead of teasing us.

But that's what all software companies do. Tease us with their programs/hardware... then it won't live up to hype.

This will live up to the hype! MS might suck with their development software but they will come through with this... hopefully.

The copy protection police have struck again. The new HD Netflix streaming service on the Xbox 360 requires an HDCP compatible display device. If you try play a movie while not connected to an HDCP compatible display, you will get the “Secure HDCP Link Not Found” error.

For all the people that have a non-HDCP LCD monitors hooked up via DVI to their Xbox 360, you are SOL. What is not clear is whether your resolution be limited to 480p if you have an older Xbox 360 with only component outputs.

This situation kind of mirrors the DVD upscaling issue with the Xbox 360, with the work around being use the VGA adapter in order to get DVD upscaling via analog outputs.

What is Netflix worried about? Who in their right mind would waste their time capturing HD Netflix movies via HDMI? Answer, Nobody!

It won't be that bad, the majority of people have games to keep them occupied (Saints Row, Dead Space, Far Cry, NBA, then GOW 2) so we don't have that long a wait until the 19th. I wish they would've had the gameshow part of the NXE ready, that looks interesting.

So that just proves the device tray is completely terrible and a big part of the RROD.

If the system has to work that hard for the DVD drive then no wonder they die within 2 years.

Free just like any other update and mandatory if you connect online.
