Thats how GameFly is too. It is kind of crazy. To think an easy way for customers to manage their account.

Someone should introduce Comcast to the internet. You would think they would understand how it works and all, seeing they sell it.

Having a CS line for GF or Netflix wouldn't be worth it financially just for cancellations and to try to reup for another month or term.

Same goes for lost DVDs or games. Best to have a automated service and do all replies via e-mail because in this line of service nothing is really urgent.

Comcast couldn't do it (as well as other cable companies) because they can't assume all their users have internet access (and know how to use it). To even just sign up with Netflix or GF you have to be online, so they can make that assumption.

I agree though, online bill pay and stuff like that make my life way easier. I rarely have to mail out a check!

Damn, I just watched The Office the last couple of days and caught up on Season 2. I'm halfway through the season. This Netflix agreement is just awesome.

You know what's funny? The mandatory PS3 installs were sooooo annoying and inconvenient, yet I can't wait to install my games on my 360

Maybe I'm irrational and hypocritical, or maybe the optional aspect makes it ok, but I really don't mind popping in a new game and waiting 5 minutes. Hell, I can get it going then take off my shoes, grab a drink, etc.

Just found this amusing, we've all been hating on the PS3 required installs and yet we've been loving the 360 install feature.

I agree, same thing in principal, but at the same time, different. I think my reason was, I never could figure out why some games had a 5 GB install on the PS3, yet did nor improved anything to the game. And with the 360 intsalls, the load times increase, the disc doesn't spin, etc.
