it needs a real one. The last "price drop" was just switching the 80 gig model with the 40 gig model and giving it an 80 gig HDD. The November NPD probably won't look too great for them either.

My guess is November is even worse. Gears 2 has sold a TON. Left 4 Dead hasn't come out yet, it's exclusive, not to mention the other multiplatform games.

PS3 needs a price drop and a must own game.

Blu-ray will keep it going without question though.

Of course 200k of those 360s are just people that already had them,it broke out of warranty and they went out and got new ones. Wich was the same scam Sony used with the PS2.
