Problem with my 360 help..........

Alright so, my brother was playing Madden 09 yesterday...a screen popped up in the right hand corner while he was playing a game...it disappeared and kicked him out to the dash. Then a another screen pops up saying the disc is unreadable...interesting. So, he stops playing. Today...he played Smackdown, so now everything seems to be ok.

Pop in GOW 2 just right now, a white screen pops in Japanese and says its unplayable...WHATS GOING ON!!

From a quick google search sounds like your disc drive is dead, still under warranty?

That same thing was happening to me before (apprently) the GPU fried.

ahh this sucks...I might as well spend the hard cash on a new box....get the elite. I always wanted that i guess its a sign eh?

but the red rings don't pop up for every hardware issue. If they did, at least it would be covered under MS's warranty. Otherwise, he'd have to pay out of pocket for them to fix it for him.

You should get them at some point, its probably a matter of time unless the disc is actually messed up.

Alright I have another question anyone know how to get my PC to register with my 360?? I have media center..it says it works but, when i click on "Music Library" on the new dashboard it says no pc listed and i have to open certain ports because of a firewall. Any ideas on how to fix this??
