    Bought another PS3!! Couple ?'s

    I sold my original 60gb PS3 but now I have a new 80gb with no BC but oh well..

    Now my question is, I actually bought the system for my 8 year old son's birthday who absolutely loves to play video games, But I have no idea how to stop him from being able to get online using my PSN username... If anyone can help me I would appreciate it...

      I think you can disable to the wifi.

              also if this is bugging you just cuz of your PSN rep or records you can always make a new user, then when you turn on your ps3 itll ask right away whos dashboard do you want to go IE Ben or Bill then when you go in there you can set up a different email address

                          I'm pretty somewhere in the XMB they have family settings. You would have to look around though.

                              Don't the 80's have software PS2 BC? (meaning not as good or complete, but still plays most games)

                                  The 80 he bought is simply the 40GB model with an upgraded HDD. So all he has his b/c with PSone games.
