    PS3 System Update Question

Last night and a hour ago I d/l the newsest system update and when I went to install it, it said "No data was found." What's wrong? I'm d/l the system update using a jumpdrive.

The 2.50 update went fine for me when I d/l that when it came out.

Are you putting it in the right PS3 folder on your flash drive?
Dumb question I know but something to look at.

Do you have to unzip that file first as well? Can't remember how I did mine in August when I picked up my system.

I followed all the steps on the playstation message board (create a folder named PS3, then create another folder named UPDATE in all caps, then save the file in the update folder) and still says no data found.

Try saving it to your desktop on your PC first. If the file downloads as a zipped file than your going to have to extract it before moving it into that UPDATE folder. Because if you don't than it will show that no data found prompt.

How do I extract it? I never had to do that before.
