Merging XBOX360 profiles

I am sorry if this has been asked before. I had XBOX live for my 360 profile 2 years ago, but I let it expire.

Well, with online dynasties in NCAA 09, I decide to sign up for live again. Well, it turns out I had to create a new profile to do this thanks to some stupid policy from Microsoft about deactivating profiles after 6 months without live.

So all of my achievements and saves are on a profile without live. Is there any way to combine them? Thanks very much for your help.

Unfortunately you can't combined profile or achievements.

However this is a first I heard about MS deactivating accounts. Did a rep from MS tell you that? I would call and ask for a manager and ask for them to reactivate the account.

thanks for the reply. Yes, a MS rep told me that. I talked to like 4 people on that day, and for whatever reason nobody could reactivate that account.

I would ask for a supervisor. If you go to mygamercard.net and search your profile, does it pop up?

I know people's account that were deactivated because their CC expired come renewal time. After some bickering on the phone with reps and supervisors all of them were able to reactivate the account.

Well, since I already have a new account with a year of live purchased for it, I am wondering if it will be worth all the effort. Thanks for the info, though. I just may give it another shot.
