PS3 ?

Im about to buy a PS3 can anybody tell me how its online is compared to xbox live ? like the differences and whats better on PS3 is it true u can get on the web on PS3

I haven't had any problems on the PS3 online. Plus it's free.

I know most people say Xbox live is better, but I honestly don't see it. The only advantage the live has in my eyes, is there is more people to play with.

Agree i have had both systems at one time and i didn`t realize much difference other than their were more people on xbox live. But PS3 never gave me problems online

No real difference really... just no cross game chats and it's not as easy to send game invites like it is with xbox live.. other than that... the bare essentials it does, it does it the same (play games online with other people)

Cross invites ain't that big of a deal since many games do it pretty nicely themselves.

Biggest thing for me is no messaging or trophy status at playstation.com... yet.

Well I'm one that disagrees that PSN is even with LIVE. Same connection and 1: It takes longer to download anything on PSN and 2: online gaming while it has gotten better it still has some lag.
Having both systems means it doesn't bother me too much as my PS3 is mainly offline exclusive gaming.

Yes that is my oppinion also. PSN just doesn't do it for me while Live on the other hand I perfer greatly over PSN.
