Alright gang give me some hope. My 360 is not working, not the ring of death, but won't load any games. It will cut on start reading disc and then say open tray. I can see the dash and NXE but no games will load. Has anyone had this problem? I'm no longer under warranty so its either buy a new 360 or send it in to Microsoft for like a $100. My thinking is will they repair it and send back the same system and another part break or should I just get a new one, maybe an Arcade version that probably won't break for awhile. Any suggestions?

Getting a blade popping up that says the disc is unreadable or the "Please insert this disc into a Xbox 360" screen too?
Far as what to do...
1. Play arcade games on it untill you get the RRoD and send it for free (if it's still under the 3 year RRoD warranty) to get a refurb that's also likely to break,possibly under warranty,repeat untill they offer a new one,wich may also break. (My new one they sent after the 3rd time it broke lasted all of about 2 weeks,now on #6)
2. Pay to have it "repaired" and get a refurb that's also likely to break.
3. Buy a new 360 that's also likely to break but at least it'll be under warranty.
4. Buy a system that actually works and doesn't break all the time like the PS3 or Wii. -
