    audio help

I just purchased a new home theater system.Ok heres the deal,i bought one of those orange digital coaxial cable which thier is in out on my tv,but their is no in connection of this kind to the system.it only has an optical out.My tv does not have a optical input, just that digital coaxial out.So i decided to run the optical cable from my PS3 to the home theater system and i was just wondering what audio settings do i need to change in the PS3.There is sound coming out of my tv when im using the PS3 but for some reason it does not sound to good. Also, does the digital dolby and surround sound symbol does it need to light up when im playing a Blu-RAY disk?Any info is appriciated thanks.

jorge, in the xmb go to settings and go to the audio setting. I think there is a setting to turn on optical there.

yeah, there should be no sound coming out of the tv either. It will all come out of your speakers. The Dolby Digital should light up if you are playing a movie that has it. Most movies have it so...
