    Ok

    My xbox just got the three lights, but I unplugged it for a while and it works now. Is there any precautions I should take now, or am I delaying the inevitable?

                      Death is coming but my 360 first RROD'd in the summer of 06. I kept it going until November 2nd. AC/DC was just rocked too much for it.

                      If you want to delay it, keep it and the power supply very ventilated. Like prop it up so air can get beneath it and if you are really wanting to get your game on switch it from horizontal to vertical, I was sometimes able to get a few extra hours out of it like that.

                      It was really hit or miss with me. During the summer some days it wouldn't work past 15 minutes. Other days it was able to play for over 6 hours straight. Same thing during the winter.

                      If you want to be safe though, just send it in, I got mine back after 2 weeks from the day I sent it out.

                                      I don't see why people put off sending their xbox in. You're going to have to wait two weeks regardless, might as well get it out of the way, right?

                                          yep mine just died, it took forever I got it in March of 06, finally it died, I sent it in last friday, and i am starting to miss it, hopefully it will be back a week from friday and will work unti i switch to ps3 when they drop their rice or i get 400 to spend.
