nah, I think it is more like free gifts in magazines. If you don't like it, don't rip them out. However they wil be there anyway. But you can ignore them. I do this most of the time. Until I'm getting close to 80% of the throphies. Then the fever sets in and I want to have that plat.

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
It's a pain if you are going for the platinum because of that Quick Play trophy, but as far as just playing the game for fun, there's nothing glitchy about it. Just depends if the game is for fun or for a platinum.
Atlanta Braves - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Man I'm so close to the Plat for the first GOW I just missed maxing out all my equipment so I have to go back and do it all over againOn top of that I need the "complete game in under 5 hours" trophy. I won't be getting those together. Guess I have 2 more playthroughs to do.

I broke out of my trophy-less funk and went on and got a bunch of Live trophies... I just need the two Live Run trophies and I'm set, but I'm not sure how to go about this yet. Are you folks on OS that have a team still running?Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
I'll admit, I did that for NBA Live, and I used two controllers for some of the Madden trophies. I consider the platinum that I got for Madden a throwaway trophy, while the plat for a game like Call of Duty WaW is something I feel quite proud of. This is one of the reasons I've decided not to go for the NBA Live plat (even though I have two more easy trophies to go), because I slider'ed my way through the majority of it and I know I'd feel bad about it afterwards.
Yeah, yeah, morals and trophies, I know.
(All-Hustle Trophy
Record at least 5 offensive rebounds, 5 blocks and 5 steals with any team.)
But I couldn't score the not one block in the 4th which led to me not getting that freaking throphy. I was so angry that I nearly smashed my controller.
However maybe except for online throphies, since I'm a singleplayer gamer, I can't see myself cheating throphies. Maybe when its time to dump NHL and NBA for next years iteration...but who knows.Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
So do any of you guys actually have the GOW 1 Plat? I'm trying to guage my time on the 5 hour run but I can't seem to find anyone who has it to ask.
I just got to the desert with the sirens in just a pinch under an hour. I want to know if that's good time or should I try and get there faster??Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. If your not sure about if your going to make it in time for the Speed trophy here's the times I had a certain points in the game. It helped my friend know if he had a chance or not so I thought some other people might benefit.
Hydra - 00:13
Athen's Battlegrounds - 00:28
Saved Oracle - 00:53
Pandora's Temple - 01:12
Trident - 01:45
Temple Guardian - 02:19
Architect's Tomb - 02:54
Hades - 03:04
Back to Athens - 03:13
Mt. Olympus - 03:23
As you can see I had an hour and a half to spare (thanks to Dairy Bastard). It only took me 10 minutes for the final battle so as long as you crawl out of Hades by 4 hours 49 minutes, and so on in reverse, you'll be fine. Also multiple saves at key points, before sirens and Hades etc., will save you from having to start over from scratch if it takes too long to find them or to scale the column, etc.Comment

Yeah to get the 100pt one you kind of have to cheat on live.
