I'm going for my first platinum on Rachet and Clank. Beat the game and everything, I just need to collect everything, beat it on challenge, and do that stupid arcade game.

What is this challenge mode you speak of anyways? Ive seen numerous people mention it between all the places I frequent but still dont know exactly what it is. Arcade game? No idea what that is either.

On Tools of Destruction, it was a harder difficulty mode that you go straight into after beating the final boss. You just go through the game again but you got to start with all your weapons and you leveled them up another 5 levels.

I'm not sure how it works in Crack in Time since that game already has different difficulty settings.

A supposedly harder mode that you get after you beat the final boss. You keep everything you had when the game ends, that includes armor, weapons,etc.

Also, I think you asked this in the other thread. If you choose to go back and collect stuff, I'm not seeing nearly as many enemies as I did while playing through the story.

You need 10,000 points on this arcade game.

Closing in on the Plat, 82%. I just need to finish:

• Raritainium (sp) Final Challenge
• 20 more Gold Bolts
• Challenge Mode Playthrough
• 10.000 on "My blaster runs hot"
• A few space missions

Oh how exciting...now it's time for bed.

Closing in on the Plat, 82%. I just need to finish:

• A few space missions

Oh how exciting...now it's time for bed.

Had every intention of going for the platinum on this game but Im not sure Im interested in playing through the entire game again, things like multiple playthroughs dont interest me normally and I seriously doubt this one will be any different. I see you got all 40 zoni's, Ive got 33 right now and considering I havent even beat the game yet I figure Im in pretty decent shape. I take it you cant access that arcade game until you beat the entire game?

No, the arcade game is in the lobby of the battleplex.

Just a heads up, from what I read, on the challenge mode playthrough you can level your weapons up again to level 10, if that makes it a little more interesting.

Also, before taking on the extra boss, I can't recommend it in good conscience without a RYNO V, probably at least at level 3.

He's actually quite tough.

Sounds good, I just finished reuniting with Clank, how close to the end of the game would you say I am? Ive played this one for something like 18 hours already, thanks in large part to taking my time in all areas to try and find everything I can, but I am curious how much there is until the final showdown. Thanks for the info, not sure how I missed that arcade game in the lobby as Ive gone there plenty of times and done the bronze and silver tournament so far. I will have to look again when I go back.

Not sure how to describe it but I went to the planet where Clank was being held by the female robot. When you defeat her the Lt. Commander wants to alter the past and Ratchet doesnt and so the Commander takes off in his own plane. Im not sure if this helps but this is the best I can do in terms of describing it.
