LOL! We found this game for $10 on clearance so I bought it for my daughter hoping that she could get some trophies for me..........but this game is a bit on the harder side.

It's suppose to be a 4-hour platinum for experienced gamers. I imagine it could be hard for young kids. I think you need to give your daughter her own PSN ID though so the trophies can go there

Anyone beat Modern Warfare 2 on veteran difficulty? Im going through that right now and its becoming painful to keep at it not to mention tiresome having to repeat things over and over and over again.

EDIT- Nvmd, I finally got past it with some good luck as I didnt do anything different I hadnt tried the other numerous attempts. I can only imagine how hard this is going to get later since there are still 7-8 missions left before Im done.

If you can get past the level where you're running from house to house in the Brazilian slums, the rest is very doable. And for whatever reason, I actually had a harder time with the slums on my first playthrough on an easier level than I did when I played it on veteran. Just lucky, I guess. From what I've heard, it isn't near as tough as WAW or COD4 on veteran.

If you can get past the level where you're running from house to house in the Brazilian slums, the rest is very doable. This, That was the hardest level IMO. I went through Vet rather quickly. But after the experience that was WAW on Vet this was nothing compared to that mess.

WAW was terrible on Vet and the ridiculous AI for your squadmates makes it even tougher. I got through a handful of missions on it before I got so irritated that I just quit playing altogether.

Treyarch did make WaW more cheap on Veteran than previous versions. It's just a hard game by poor design. Once you realize that it's more about patience and doing everything yourself, as it rains grenades and enemies run right by your allies, the rage goes away.

LOL, no kidding, those two things right there is exactly why I quit. Watching us hold the line only to have guys run right by my squadmates while they acted like they were blind and didnt see him was enough for me. Gaming should be about fun and this game on Veteran was anything but that.

Buddy System - Bronze Trophy - Complete one Cooperative Multiplayer game

I'm just about done with my Crushing run, will someone do a co-op game with me so I can get this last trophy? How long does it take?

I did co-op objective with a random person online... Didn't even finish the level, but still got the trophy after everyone got killed at the same time. So I guess it'll take a quick 5 minutes with whoever you play with, considering you can make it after the first cutscene.
