LOL, when it comes to a platinum! There's no way I'd do it if it was a game I wasn't going to try and platinum. I really hope they get a patch out soon. I received an email from Sumo saying they are working on it, so maybe it won't take too long since they know what the issue is.

Well if you want to play some time with me and my buddy, let me know. We usually hop on Skype for chat since the quality is so much better. We were up until 2:30 last night playing one Survival level on one of the DLC maps, made it to wave 10 twice before being denied. :

We'll probably be at it again tonight, although hopefully not that late.

Just in case you aren't aware, you don't need those multiplayer trophies to get the Uncharted 2 platinum. If you're trying to get all the trophies regardless, disregard this message.

Yep, only trying to get them because they are out there. All I have left is the crushing playthrough for the UC2 plat.

Just in case you aren't aware, you don't need those multiplayer trophies to get the Uncharted 2 platinum. If you're trying to get all the trophies regardless, disregard this message.

I really wish Sony would have handled DLC trophies differently. I wish your percentage went over 100% when you got the extra DLC trophies. It bothers me that I have a platinum for UC2, Burnout, Madden 10, but only have around 85% of the trophies.

This was probably done to give people an extra push to buy DLC. If you get 100% on a game, then it dips down to 92% because of the DLC trophies, the hardcore trophy collectors are going to be bothered seeing that 92% and buy the DLC so they can get it back up to 100%.

This was probably done to give people an extra push to buy DLC. If you get 100% on a game, then it dips down to 92% because of the DLC trophies, the hardcore trophy collectors are going to be bothered seeing that 92% and buy the DLC so they can get it back up to 100%.

Every time I see how low my percentage is in Burnout Paradise I think about picking up a few more of its DLC packs...

well, MS does the same thing on the 360. At least the ps3 has platinum trophies to show you completed every on disk trophy.

Anyone able to get the "Crazy Eights" trophy in The Show yet? I cant for the life of me figure out how to go about getting this. For those unfamiliar, you have to play the pitching knockout mini game and hit all 8 zones with 8 pitches, meaning you cant miss once. As you all know, the meter is completely unforgiving so if you miss the spot by a hair then the pitch drifts, which is fine when playing the game but for this trophy it completely kills it. To make matters worse you cant simply restart from within the game once youve missed as you either have to finish out the 15 pitches or quit back to the main menu and restart from there. Ive turned pitching difficulty to rookie, Ive tried guys with great control like Cliff Lee and yet the best Ive done is all 8 zones in 10 pitches. If anyone has any tips that might help me out with this it would be much appreciated.

EDIT- Almost forgot, then there are the rare times where it goes through the corner of the zone and you dont get credit for it, awesome.

Yeah I tried this a few times, and I got 3 straight balls that hit the corner of a zone without it registering, and at that point I said forget it.

Yeah, it was frustrating. It seems like that trophy is going to be all about complete luck as there were times I know I hit the accuracy mark 100% perfectly and yet it would move just a hair but that was enough to move it out of a zone. Let me know if you figure out a way to get this trophy.
