As far as graphics and technology go, both PS3 and 360 became current gen at launch. Just look at the launch titles for both, most of those couldn't have been done for the PS2 or Xbox because they weren't powerful enough.PSN ID: Lordcledus

Well I'm tired of hearing the term Next Gen for the 360 and Ps3 just call em current gen and ps2 which is the only system that makes games now (very slowly ) past gen. Just a small rant.chuckcross.bandcamp.com

I've been saying next gen is current gen for a while now. PS2 is throwback. I went to visit fam in memphis for Christamas and cracked up seeing my grown cousins packed in a room @ my aunt's house playing a freaking PS2.
