Has anyone played Resistance: Retribution, God of War or Tekken and if so what are your opinions on the wow factor of these games, especially for the first two mentioned?

Resistance: Retribution and God of War are excellent on the PSP, system sellers imo.

God of War is incredible. Just as good as the PS2 versions IMO.

GOW and Resistance are both excellent games. You can not go wrong with either. GOW does not lose a step on the PSP nd Resistance was just as good.

I have resistance. Should I go back and grab GOW and another 20.00 game that is really good like Tekken, Logans Shadow, Socom Tactical Strike, or any other recommendations.

Or is Resistance really good enough to warrant the 40.00 purchase alone?

I really need some help as I have had a PSP for some time and have not really enjoyed some of the game that are on it in the past.

Resistance is worth the $40............it expands the Resistance mythos.

I've only played Tekken of the three you mention (but just recently purchased GOW and probably will get Resistance one day). It is a fun fighting game that's a very solid buy for a handheld because it allows you to have enjoyable bursts of gameplay. Thumbs up if you love fighting games - packed with extras.

BIG recommendation - Loco Roco. The best PSP game I've ever played, and completely addictive. The music will forever sear itself into your brain!

The GTA games and Ridge Racer are also excellent, IMO.

The 2 Socom games are worth getting. Tactical Strike and Fire Team Bravo.

I can honestly say......nowadays I just use my PSP when I'm going to the bathroom. I spend vast majority of my time on 360.

But back in the day when PSP was 1st out and I was still in college catching the subways, PSP made those long train rides fun and fly by quickly.

And it also came in handy when I had an hour or 2 hour break in between classes.

Picked up one yesterday for $30 yesterday after trading some old games to gamestop they give a extra 30% for 5 games + 10% edge card. picked up the Silver psp 3000, Ratchet and Clank bundle.. this should help kill alot of time at work.

now if i can just figure out how to put movies and Games on my Memory Stick i will be in business.

Man, I just tried GOW earlier today - holy cow that is one IMPRESSIVE handheld title. WOW. I give it a HUGE recommendation.
