    PS3 Keypad

Has anyone picked one up yet? I can't believe they are charging so much for this, but wondering if they have been ok.

      $19.99 - $29.99 would be a fair price.

Accessories are way over priced this generation.

LOL, here is one for $20 but it looks pretty shady.

yeah that's not the official PS3 one, but I have that one as well as the official PS3 one. The official one is nicer because it is bluetooth so it doesn't take up a USB port, plus it has the number keys separate from the letter keys, the one in this link you have to hold a function key down for the numbers. That one is definitely a good keypad for a cheaper price, but I like the official keypad better. Although $50 is definitely too much for the keypad. I got it for a gift, otherwise I would still be using the cheaper one.

The official one looks better too as that other one looks like its gaudy. Is it true that the keypad doesn't work off of the battery of the controller, but off of its own battery.

It has a built in rechargable battery, so yeah you gotta plug it into the wall to recharge. I've only had to charge mine twice since Christmas and I use it a lot.

I got one for my Wife at Christmas. It is bluetooth so no adapters to worry about, and recharges just like a controller. I just wish it was backlit, terrible to use in the dark.

You're right, it does just recharge with a USB doesn't it. I must have been thinking of my old keypad that I had to charge from a wall outlet.

                    Re: PS3 Keypad

I bought the keypad yesterday and after some use, I am not feeling this keypad. It just doesn't feel as comfy as I had hoped. So I found a Logitech wireless Keyboard EX100 for $15 on sale at Target today. I think I am going with that.

I found the keys too close to each other and were not as high as the MS Chatpad. Then having to shift your hands to the top of the controller to type the keys. I know I am being too negative here, but I wonder who designed this darn thing and then approved it. LOL!

ok, but if you do, you may have to get one of those ps/2 to usb adapter things.

Actually, the wireless keybd with USB dongle works great.

"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.
