Dreamcast making a comeback!

new Dreamcast systems are being sold through some online retailers, most notably thinkgeek.com.

While I have a 360 and a Wii, and my roommate has a PS3, I'm strongly considering getting a new Dreamcast. I would still play my old one if it didn't completely stop working. Some really sweet games came on the DC including Crazy Taxi 1 and 2, Shenmue, all the 2K sports games, Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2, Unreal Tournament, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Quake 3 Arena and so many more.

I seen that video on yahoo. I wish a DC 2 would come out or something. DC was way ahead of its time when it came out.

Imagine what a new DC would do.

I don't know why this is a big deal. There's been brand new Dreamcasts available online for years, and it has nothing to do with Sega making any more. You can find used ones for $15 that come with games and stuff.

As for another Dreamcast, it's now a shock whenever a Sega title isn't mediocre. The Sega we have now isn't anything like the Sega that was putting out great titles on the Genesis, Dreamcast, or arcades. That's why it's so fun to look back on the Sega nostalgia. Their old games are fun, but it's genuinely sad to see how hard and fast they fell out of relevance.

I'm glad I already have one. I got a used DC from Edward McKays Books and now I'm just working on getting some of my favorite old-school games. Really, if I get Street Fighter 3rd Strike and Capcom vs. SNK 2000, I will probably play those games all summmer.

oh man I wish that were true. Imagine a new DC with a dual-stick controller and better online support.

I still have some DC games laying around, one of which was a burnt disc that contained every single NES game ever made on it.

I owned the dreamcast on release day and just loved the system, thats when 2k sports was born and Me and freinds of mine played the NFL and NBA like crazy, for hours.
