My opinion of what happened.

Candy and a buddy rigged his gamerscore. He got busted and then felt guilty for doing it. Now has his buddy using the account and legit trying to sell it off.

Basically this, if the account was really hacked, and you called MS stating that, it would be locked plain and simple. Not just locked from Candy but then allowing a stranger to use his account nightly on XBL. Just none of it makes sense. Candy is locked out from using his account by MS, but MS is allowing the hacker to go on all night Halo 3 sessions? Um, no.

I believe he got busted, felt guilty and realized what he did. Now trying to back peddle on it.

I agree with you EX, like I said, he tried pulling a fast one, got busted, and that's that. Just admit it is all I'm saying. It's not like we are going to care, just admit it, and move on.

I thought it was at first also but no way can it be since the 3 I suspected were in the party with me when Candyman signed in. We even invited him to our party just to make sure it wasn't one of my friends while they were in the party, he joined and started to talk to us then tried saying about selling the account 4 Gamer Points. Needless to say one mention of it being hacked he left the party.

It pisses me off regardless considering I got hacked and a E74 error now.....

I feel the same way. If he did this, just fess up and move on. It makes no sense at all that MS wouldn't lock the whole account if it was hacked. This account is playing nightly, was called in as being hacked to MS, and nothing is done about it. Just makes now sense at all.

I second what Football is saying about the bragging. He was bragging as he knew the amount of points that his account had. Candy can do what he wants, but don't try to B.S. us us my point.

Here's another update: Microsoft wants everyone to know that if you call them there will be a special hotline for OS users so that we can listen to all the calls he has made, just so that everyone believes him. 18004MYXBOX ext 5437(LIES). They also want you to know that as a bonus if you mention his Halo costume they will give you extra special achievements in Halo 3.

It's pretty obvious he's lying. Since when is your gamertag seperated into "offline and online" parts? There is one gamertag and if someone was using it without permission Microsoft would not let someone just keep playing online with it and they certainly wouldn't let him keep all those points.
