    LCD TV PS3 Help

Hey I have a LCD Sylvania TV and hooked it up to the PS3 using 5 prong adaptor(Red, Blue, & Green for Monitor and Blue and White for Audio - dont know what the cable is called but it isnt and HDMI cable). How do I set this thing up? The TV supports 480 p.

you have a component video cable. aside from plugging it in, all you have to do is hold the power button on the ps3 for a few seconds when turning it on and it will automatically detect the cable and correct video output settings. btw, 480p seems low for an lcd. it's usually 1080i, 720p, or 1080p. (ranked lowest to highest from left to right.)
My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10

3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.

Colors should be Red, Green, Blue for component video and Red and White for audio. Make sure you have those plugged up correctly (Ex. video red where it's supposed to be audio red, blue isn't where the green goes, etc.)

You might have to go into the PS3's video settings and make sure 480p is selected. This is assuming you only have a LCD monitor and not LCD HDTV.
