    360 Power supply issue

Alright fellas... The other night we had a thunderstorm and it caused a power surge. What happened was I saw the storm coming, but it hadn't done anything yet. I looked outside, saw the dark clouds and it was getting darker, but there was no thunder or anything. It looked like it was gonna pass us by. Next thing I know the power just cuts off. Then it comes back on for a split second and I start smelling electrical death in my room. My TV fizzled and popped a couple times, then smoke started coming out the top (R.I.P. ).

Then the power was out for like the next 6 hours. When it came up, my surge protector was shot. I had the TV plugged straight into a wall outlet, so that spelled disaster for it. Everything plugged into my surge protector survived, minus my 360 power supply apparently.

I went to GS and bought a new (used) one, $40. (WTH, a new one is $90, smdh.) Well this one works...kinda. It comes on, the light is green. I popped in NBA 2k9 to play a game, green thoughout all the menus. Went into my association, did a drill, green throughout the drill. Started an association game, ORANGE! about 20 seconds later, RED! 360 cuts off. I was like, wtf??

I played a game of NFL 2k5 later that night, played fine, Green throughout. I played about 45 minutes of Saint's Row earlier today, Green throughout. I try CHoops 2k8, RED! I try APF 2k8, RED!

Gamestop is now out of used 360 power supplies, so I'm wondering if it could be something else. I tried my 360 in different outlets also. Any ideas?
