Quick Question. Need Help!

I was going to my friends house to play some MLB: The Show 09 on his PS3. He didn't have an extra controller, so I brought mine. We had good fun, had a few drinks, and I decided to call it a night. I called a taxi and went home. When I woke up, I realized I had forgotten my controller at my friends house. I called him up and found out his house was broken into and all of his PS3 and home entertainment equipment had been stolen, including my controller.

So here's the problem: I have a USB to PS2 controller adapter. I've been using my PS2 controller to play games, but the only thing is, I can't access my XMB in-game.

Is there anything I can push on the PS2 controller to pull of the XMB? Or am I just stuck with this problem?

That is some bad luck right there.

You don't have a PS3 Blu-Ray remote, do you? If you do, you could use that to access the XMB. Otherwise, yeah, you are out of luck.

How much does that cost? If it's under the $60 it would cost for a PS3 controller, I'll get it. But, I guess I'll just have to save a couple of bucks out of my paycheck each week to get new one. Thanks for the help, bro!

Yeah, I think it's around $25.

Or you can just get a new DS3, there are cheaper prices than $60 you can find it for online. I think Newegg has it for $42 with free shipping.
