I put my hard drive in another XBOX. Everything is working fine right now but I know if I disconnect from XBOX LIVE I will not have my DLC's. I went into my settings and downloaded everything again. However, when I did this it only took about 10 seconds, which I thought was strange. Will I be able to play my DLC if I am not connected to XBOX Live now?

No, not yet. Is this permanent? You need to go to the Xbox site and change your DLC to be "owned" by the new Xbox if its permanent. You can only make this change once a year, so not something you do if you just want to swap 360's for some reason. You're allowed 1 physical Xbox to "own" the DLC and play it while not connected to Live. Otherwise you can play on as many Xboxes as you want as long as you're logged onto Live.

Yeah. Thanks. It is not permanent. When I get my broken XBOX (Elite) back I will be using that one permanently. However, I bet I will have to do this migration with the one MicroSoft gives me too. They will probably just switch mine out rather than fix mine.Comment
