Depending on what happens with my repair cost for my PS3 I might scoop this up and sell the games since I already have them. What can I sale a broken 80gig PS3 for & the 2 games that come with this deal? Do you guys think I could possibly get $200? If I can get $200 then why pay $150 for a repair? Opinions please????? Also does Best Buy have and in-store warranty where I don't have to wait and mail it off. I want to be able to just exchange it in store? Peace!!!!

this would be a no doubt buy for me if I had no knowledge of the slim and likely price drop coming in a few months.

If I didn't have a system and was looking to buy, I'd probably get on this regardless of my knowledge. Unless you really want to get the slim console (and we have no idea what it's going to look like or when it's coming out), this is just as good as getting the system after a price drop and then buying the games separately.

Yeah, this is a great deal.

My only worries with the Slim is how well do those hold up in terms of quality based on this being a smaller model and the thought about heat. Granted the newer PS3's get less hot from what I read, but could these be too small? They are also removing the internal power supply, so that may have a lot to do with this.

That's something I'm wondering about as well. My fat PS3 is going strong, I'll be sticking with it. I'll be curious to see what the early reviews are on the slim, though. I would think Sony has prepared well, realizing what a PR nightmare it would be if the slims have heat problems... but we'll see.

I wish someone would come out with a Choose your 2 games bundle. I am not that interested in those games. No doubt they are good games but those would be secondary. How long do you think Sony will make us wait for a price drop. I imaging they are starting to bundle games in to move "Fatty" Ps3's before they come out with a slim. The deal for some people is great... I'm afraid to pull the trigger right now. If the Ps3 comes out at 299 I can probably find lets say, those two games for cheaper online..It would work out better IMO...
