    I certainly hope not.

The main reason I hope not is because I've shared my account with at least three other people. I hope I haven't run out of my account shares so I can at least add my account to this new, refurbished PS3.

We'll see. I'll just be glad if I can get it back as early as possible and still have my account.

You should be fine. All it takes is a phone call and a supervisor. (You may not even need a supervisor) I had 5 activated PS3's. They closed them all out for me so I could have one on my new slim.

Oh, it has to do with the PS3's you have them activated on? I had no idea.

Thanks, I was beginning to wonder what it meant to deactivate your account. Only thing was I had to switch out my 400GB with my 40GB before sending it in, and when I did it wiped out everything (but probably didn't deactivate the PS3).

If you could keep in touch if or when I have to do this, that would be great.

Yeah Blz, hit me up via pm if you have any ?'s. I'm always around.
Also, even if your last activation available to you was on the ps3 you sent in then they would have to give you access to another because of the refurb exchange.

Interesting. I wonder if they would ask questions about why I'm out of account activations though. I guess I would say, "I have family all around" or something like that.

Let's just hope the refurb works for a long time.

"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

                lol

I just took it up with Jack Tretton. Hopefully that'll get something done since the rest of Sony doesn't give a crap.

I'm sure I totally had nothing at all to do with getting his e-mail published. Just because I asked on tuesday and it showed up today. Complete coincidence.

Good deal. I was without a working PS3 for a couple days once and it was torture.

You should consider yourself lucky, I've been without one for almost three months now. Well, with the exception of being able to play The Uninvited as well as downloaded games and music... then I took apart my PS3 and got the disc out to stick in Rock Band 2 over winter break, but in time the PS3 decided to not work the game booting sector at all so I couldn't even play any downloaded games either. The only thing it could do at this point was play music.

So it's essentially been two to three months without one. I don't even know what I'll do first when I get it back.

It's back home, my parents have it.

My dad will be using it mostly, not just for some Blu-ray watches (and Netflix) but also because he's saving all of our home movies and photos on there. He's also doing the Folding@home thing.

I want a fatty to run Linux on.

Oh ok, cool. As a word of caution and not to take this the wrong way.......just be careful with having your PSN name on your dad's friend list, your parents may have a heart attack if your spending too much time on the PS3 when you get it back as opposed to doing other activities from what you have told us in the past.

It's actually the first thing that I thought of, which is why I didn't add myself.

But I was also considering adding it to "show him how much I play games", and then I would consider signing offline to play some games lol. Plus it doesn't show how often I watch Blu-ray movies either.
