PS3 Stolen....
Found out last night while I was out of town, my apartment was burglarized. After going to see the damage I was missing: PS3 + controllers, cables, Wii + controllers, cables, 5 wii games including Mariokart , my 32 inch Vizio HDTV from my bedroom, and 25-30 blu rays.

Re: PS3 Stolen....
Sorry to hear that man... I feel for you... I got my Giant Rincon mountain bike with all kinds of accesories stolen from my apartment. 500.00 worth. Plus a few other things.. It takes a long time to get over something like that.. It's not the money but the feeling everytime you leave the house.. With that said, It does make you more cautious of the surroundings when you leave your house. Listen more when you are at home. -
Re: PS3 Stolen....
Yeah, I've got renter's insurance so we will see how much I get back.
The police officer that showed up today to get a list of what I was missing didn't seem too enthusiastic about helping recover my stuff.Comment

Re: PS3 Stolen....
They normally don't man..They normally could care less... This is a drop in the bucket to them. They would rather be doing nothing.. This morning there was a 1 car accident and the car was aside the road.. There were 5 cop cars there.... WTF for what... Whomever broke into your house probably was in need of quick cash...Whether they sold to a friend or pawnshops... sounds like they took stuff that would sellComment

Re: PS3 Stolen....
That really sucks, I couldn't ever imagine if that happened to me.
But perhaps it's time to play detective. Did you announce to the world you were going out? Just to a few people? I mean do you think this was somebody completely random that was just lucky you weren't there (obviously they took a bit of time to get it all out and without any trouble from neighbors, so he/she must have imagined time was on their side), or do you think it was somebody you know (which would be really stupid as well)?
And do you have a roommate? Because hopefully this thread doesn't end up like the time DallasRocks got his 360 stolen.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: PS3 Stolen....
Thanks everyone. Spent the past day itemizing everything and digging up serial numbers for the big ticket items...wii, PS3 and Vizio. Still had wii box, but just threw away the PS3 box 2 days before the break in. Luckily Sony is gonna use my PSN username to get that info for me. Not sure about the tv besides just having proof that I bought one.
Going by the police dept., insurance company and local pawnshops and local gamestops, ebgames, etc. tomorrow.
May request a new apartment since it's not cool to know the thief(s) are still out there and now know exactly what's in my apt.Comment
