Any one ever have a brand new game get a DDE?

I just bought a new copy of NCAA 10 and the very first time I put it in I get the DDE. I cleaned it and then tried to install it and got it again. Cleaned it with water then tried to install again and it worked and It playing fine now.

Is this cause for concern? Or should it be okay now?

I got a Disk Read Error when I rented Ratchet: Deadlocked on my PS2. I was so sad.

You're never okay with the 360. Anything can happen at anytime.

I just have this feeling. Been having issues lately with netflix, staying signed in, DDE's, it all just oozes of RROD. Please God not right before Madden.

you should be fine as long as you keep playing the game from your hdd

You know, I knew that was coming, and figured it would be from you.

Long story short one of my dogs likes to chew on anything she can get her teeth on, including game disks apparently.

My dog went through that phase a few years ago, wasn't a happy time for my games/controllers.

Yeah, she got one of my controllers too. Chewed up the triggers, it still works, but it hurts when I shoot lol.

I took it out.....saw a fingerprint(smudge) and tried to clean it...the damn thing was burned into the disc.
When I brought it back to BB...the guy asks me...."did you try and clean the disc?"
I said..."No...do you think it would help?" and watched him wipe the thing for about 5 minutes. When he finally looked back up at me...I just gave him a wink.
I think he's under the impression I wanted to ask him on a date! He was so flustered he put both games in the bag and handed it to me.
(of course I gave it back)

Dude its bad, She eats everything. She chewed through the cord on my play and charge kit, and my headset. I have to keep everything in a drawer now.

My old dog went through a chewing phase. He chewed sunglasses, Shoes, and my Tony Hawk Pro Skater disk (PS1). I learned after that, never left anything of value out again.
