Re: XBox 360 Elite price drop
i went to best buy first thinking i would snag it up there only problem they had sold out all of the original stock. you see microsoft has repacked the systems now they include no hidmi cables or games its just a bear bones system for 299 so then i went to gamestop the employee told me one store had one elite left with hidmi cables so i went there and not only did it have the hidmi cables but i got the 2 games all for 299.00 to me the new price with nothing but the system is not as much of a deal as they make it considering the hidmi cable is pretty nice the games are so so but come onComment

Re: XBox 360 Elite price drop
I agee Pringles that why I settled for a pro and used the extra to pick up hdmi cable and new battery packs for my contollers that were shot since I'd had them since launch. My son got a pro in June that came with a game. I traded my Microsoft refurb in and got one of the new repacked Pros with no game. I shouldve asked if they had one of the old boxes."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Re: XBox 360 Elite price drop
The Mole has also chimed in with some more info on Microsoft's plans. Starting in the middle of October we'll be seeing an Elite system bundled with copies of both Pure and Lego Batman, giving you a little more value for your $300 through Christmas.
Microsoft has also confirmed the existence of an 802.11n adaptor for the Xbox 360, and the Mole has let us know that the hardware will be released for $100, with the existing 802.11g adapter dropping in price to $79.99. The hardware will feature two antennae for better reception, and should help deliver the bandwidth needed to stream 1080p video instantly, as Microsoft claims is possible with the upcoming Zune video store update to the Xbox 360.

Re: XBox 360 Elite price drop
The new wifi adapter should be $50 and make the old one $25. That would sell wifi adapters. And I agree, I think they should bundle it with the elite this holiday season.Comment
