HMDI Splitter/Switch????
Fellows is their a product I can buy relatively cheap so I can stop unplugging the HDMI when I want to use the other system? Thanks. My tv only has 1 HDMI hookupThe poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Tags: None -

Yes, its about $15 and works great. I ordered a box a 10' HDMI and a 6' HDMI for $42 delivered.
I have a 360 and a PS3 hooked up to a 28" Hanns G 1080P with only 1 input.

Re: HMDI Splitter/Switch????
I had a similar setup, I had a TV at my old apartment with only 1 HDMI port, so I got a 2-connection pushbutton HDMI switch and two 6' cables from Monoprice... ended up being 30-something bucks. It allowed me to have my PS3 and DVR connected up.Last edited by rspencer86; 08-12-2009, 03:01 PM.Ryan Spencer

I don't have one (haven't needed it yet), but monoprice even has ones that use remote controls so you'd be able to program it into a Harmony/Logitech remote if you have one of those...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: HMDI Splitter/Switch????
I don't think that would work... you want a switch, not a splitter. The above would be used for displaying your PS3 or 360 video on two different screens.Ryan Spencer

Well, this is what I was told on another forum (ARS technica, perhaps?) when I was trying to figure out what to buy in my case, so I could be passing along bad info.
After looking at the info on the Amazon page, though, I think this is right. Also, this product is pretty poorly rated. Read through the reviews.Ryan Spencer

Use this one for my 360 and PS3. Here is a short review I did of it
Bought mine at gamestop for $30. It switches automatically so you don't have to do anything. Also comes with a extra HDMI cable.Last edited by Heelfan71; 08-12-2009, 04:36 PM.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx
