Best headset for 360

What is the best headset out there to use while on Xbox Live? I have broken the wired mic that comes with it four or five times now. Anyone recommend a better mic? Nothing too expensive though

Only other one I've used is the wireless one. It's lasted a lot longer than the wired ones I've had.

The Xbox wireless mic is very good, thats what I use and I like it.

The plantronics mic is also pretty good, same price as the xbox wired mic but better.

Using Turtle Beaches is cheating. Thats all people do in rainbow six or call of duty since the tv sound plays through the mic people just camp and can hear your footsteps from half way across the map.

lol I got the X-4s and I have surround sound. Personally the real surround sound times 100x better but as far as cheating, pretty ridiculous.

Ok maybe not cheating but pretty cheap lol. It just gives campers another way to play and theres nothing you can do to stop it if there hiding and know where you are.

That headset sounds pretty good. I went to gamestop yesterday to use some credit, but they only had the wireless ones for $99. Too much for me. I'll go wired. How does the wired one work... do you have to plug a cord into your tv as well?
