Personally I like the Human interaction at Gamestop but I want more money for my Trade-ins. Does anyone know of any online sites that operate similar to gamestop but better?

Re: Where do you Buy/sell games
Take a look at gamestaq.com. I'm signed up at their site, and although I have not used their service yet, everyone over at CAG seem to rave about the place. Speedy and effective customer service coupled with fair to high prices of games seem to be gamestaq's M.O. If I understand it correctly it's basically the same price to buy or sell used games, with gamestaq charging a fee for shipping and their services. If nothing else their at least worth checking out.Go Yankees
Go Rangers

Buy my games typically from Best Buy, but have strayed to other stores. If I choose to get rid of a game, I sell it via Ebay, but I rarely sell my games.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Where do you Buy/sell games
Usually I sell my games at Amazon.com. I net $5-15 more than trade in value (even after the amazon fees), plus the buyers get them for less than they'd pay at Gamestop. No hassle as the buyer pays Amazon and Amazon deposits the funds in my bank account.
This year though, Amazon is suspending my seller account for the holidays to insure quality service, they say. In the meantime I have 100 percent positive feedback. But one of their criteria is amount of sales, which I do not meet.
I only trade at Gamestop when they are having some sort of promo. Currently they are paying $20 extra on 4 games, so then its worth my while to trade some game there.
Buying games I wait and get them on sale or used for $5-$20. At those prices, many times I can play through and trade or sell the game for what I paid or close to it.
A few AAA games and sports titles I will pick up on release day. I look for sales at cheapassgamer.com.Comment

As a Game collector I don't sell many. But if I do I do like Pete above and go to gamestop when there is some sort of Promo. I typically only trade in old sports games (i.e. MLB 09/Nascar 09) or the first games of a series (i.e. Resistance 1).
I keep all my other titles. To date so far. 56 PS1 games/57 PS2 games/14 PS3 Games.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. I buy and sell games through Craigslist. If you live near a large city this is the way to go IMO. I bought Killzone 2 and Fallout 3 for $20 each a couple months ago and sold four old sports games as a package for $30—probably would have got a buck each for 'em at Gamestop.Ryan Spencer

Re: Where do you Buy/sell games
There's a place called Games N Things that gives cash and credit. For example, about a month ago I traded in NCAA Football 2010 and got $30 cash or I could have got $35 credit. I went with cash because they just sell used products and hardly ever sell anything new. So I didn't think it was worth getting an extra $5 in store credit.
Special FX is also pretty good. For Batman they gave me $38 in credit, Killzone 2 they were going to give me $32 (but it has a small scratch and they wouldn't take it) Hell, Left 4 Dead they were going to give me $20, but I didn't trade it in, yet.

I use Goozex.com. You get Goozex points for games you trade in and then use those points to buy used games from other users. You have to pay for trade credits, but overall it's a pretty good system since you get market value for games you trade in.Comment

Re: Where do you Buy/sell games
I sell my games on e-bay or Kijiji (Canada's version of Craig's list) but I often find myself trading games in. Between blockbuster, EB and other big box stores I can usually get the best value without the hassle. It also helps that there is a website tivs.ca that posts all the recent trade in values across Canada so you can check ahead of time where you can maximize your trade credit. It's fantastic. Is there a similar US site that will track trade values by store?Comment
