Xbox style controller for PS3?

Anyone have one? I've done some searching and have come up with only one controller that has an Xbox type layout (with the analog sticks) for the PS3. I really prefer the feel of the Xbox controller and would like to have something for my PS3.

If you'd like, you could always use the XCM Cross Battle adapter:

But you need a wired 360 controller is all I know.

I feel your pain, I totally want a 360 style controller for the PS3. I like the bigger size of the 360 controller and my thumbs hit each other when I play FPS on the PS3. Neither of these options look very good to me, maybe if Logitech did one I'd try it.

But the one posted above looks good too. The things I can't seem to find tho....a controller with the concave sticks like a 360, and true "triggers" instead of the nubs the PS3 has. I really can't believe that no company has come up with a true copy of the 360 controller.....licensing issues maybe?

One thing you got to give great props to MS is that they made a hell of a controller in the 360 controller. Best controller on any system hands down.

Yeah, the reviews don't exactly inspire confidence, do they? But it looks almost exactly what I would want. I'll have to check Best Buy's return policy and see how flexible they would be......

Alright, had this controller for about a week, so here's my thoughts on it.

First off, it doesn't feel cheap. It's very sturdy and all the buttons and sticks have a quality feel to them. The battery on it, at least initially, holds a good charge. I've played FIFA all week, for hours a nite, and haven't had to recharge the controller yet. While it's still not the same size as the Xbox controller and doesn't have the same triggers, it still is pretty comfortable to use and the triggers are somewhat improved from the PS3.

The only bad I have is that the sticks are maybe a bit too stiff. This makes it hard to use for games that require a precise control. For example, FIFA is great. But for MLB The Show, it's not. MLB needs precise control for pitching, and the sticks make that difficult. Maybe with further use the sticks will loosen up a bit.

For $30, it's a great second controller for the PS3 if you want something a bit more like the Xbox one. I'm overall pretty happy with it and glad I bought it.

Meh, I'm personally a huge fan of the PS3 controller with its symmetry, plus I have the triggers added for R2 and L2, so I'm set. Glad you are liking your purchase, though.

I own this one as well, but I still prefer the dual shock.

yeah, those trigger things make the ps3 controller much better. I prefer it over the 360 but both are good IMO
