Problem with playstation controllers ...
I turned on the slim to play ac2 and my controllers both of them just keep blinking red .... They do have charge in them... They only work when I put the USB inside them... Is there a problem with my ps3 not detecting it ??? Never has happened to me ...Thanks for any insight ...Miami Dolphins

I friend of mine at work is having the same problem, he's look around the net and has seen others with it too. Don't have an answer for you, but it seems you are not alone. He has to unplug his system and plug it back in to get it to reconnect properly sometimes. Maybe something with the new firmware messed it up.

Rumor has it that since FW 3.0, it has done a lot of bad than good to the hardware with people having all kinds of different issues.Comment

I've been having the same problem with my slim. I'm sure it's the system because it's happened with all my controlers. My 60 gig though hasn't had the problem yet. I have to plug in the controller, turn off the system, turn the sytem back on with the controller plugged in, and it then works fine.

I had this too. Do a reset on the system (where you hold the power button down until it beeps twice) then just sync everything back up.Comment
