I updated my firmware tuesday night and used netflix streaming, then turned it off.
Turned it back on for the first time since, and now it just gets a black screen on my tv, but the sound gets to the reciever. I tried swapping to the RGB cable I had lying around, and that got the screen to show up, but going back to HDMI just had the black screen. I tried both ports on my TV (and I know they work, my cable works). I doubt it's the HDMI cable. Anyone ever have this? sucks hardcore, I've had more annoying issues lately with my PS3 compared to 360. I guess it's impossible for Sony to release a update that doesn't break everyone's systems.
*edit* found a link that helped me fix it, still no reason this should have happened. Way to make me do crap on Thanksgiving, Sony!
