I don't see the price dropping again anytime soon. I would say at least a year for another price drop.

Agreed, and honestly, I don't see any reason they SHOULD drop the price. $299 for a gaming console AND high quality Bluray player is one hell of a deal.

$299 is perfect if you ask me for all that you get. On top of that Sony really had these systems moving with this last price drop along with the new look. Peace!!!

They likely won't drop again for awhile, or at least until MS does. MS wants to keep 360 prices where they are so they can bundle in Natal.

Some experts say the price may be cheaper before Christmas. I guess it's a gamble so, if you see (what you consider) a good deal your best bet is to jump on it.

Im upset because bestbuy is selling a 46 inch Bravia and giving away a free PS3 slim with it for less than a grand right now

That's a damn good deal. I wish I had a need for another 46 in. TV right now and I would jump on it.

By the way, if any of you run across any great deals on 360's let me know. Mine just got the RRoD and I'm going to get a new one.
