360 - 250GB HDD coming 3/23

360 owners, the 250gb HDD is coming and priced a bit reasonably than the 120gb HDD. I guess they finally realized they were ripping people off.

Anyone dolefully eyeing up a Special Edition Super Elite Xbox 360 and its 250GB hard drive - but is already in possession of a perfectly functioning console - will be happy to learn that GameStop has started listing a seperate standalone 250GB HDD for sale.

The 250GB HDD was previously exclusive to Special Limited Xbox 360 Bundles such as the ones released for Forza 3, Modern Warfare 2, Final Fantasy XIII and the planned Splinter Cell: Conviction Special Edition.

What's more, the standalone HDD add-on is most reasonably priced at just $129.99. This seems like incredibly generous pricing given that the 120GB hard drive was previously tagged at £149.99. Either Microsoft has gone mad, or they're adopting a fresh, more benevolent outlook.

We'd personally plump for the former.

GameStop has a 23rd March date attached to the 250GB HDD.

$130 isn't bad at all for it being brand new and a MS product, they're about $75 on ebay.

Who is using up all their HDD's already? I've owned an Elite since the month it dropped and I've yet to fill it up more than halfway and that's mainly with games loaded onto my HDD to help them run quicker. In all, the only real content I have is minimal while the actual stored games take up a good 30-40 GBs altogether.

In all, the only real content I have is minimal while the actual stored games take up a good 30-40 GBs altogether.

I have about 50 GB on my 120 left. I do have a few games installed that I don't play anymore so I have more than enough space.

Not everybody owns an elite.......most have the Pro which comes with a 60GB HDD

Oi! I paid $180 for the 120 gig. 17 gigs left. This of course comes with a free upgrade for anyone that bought the 120 for that ever so overpriced cost in the last year right? RIGHT?

I always install my games before I play them. I usually have around 10 GB free now(I own the 120GB drive). when I get a new game, I'll uninstall a game that I don't play too often anymore.

Not everybody owns an elite.......most have the Pro which comes with a 60GB HDD

I couldn't imagine using the 20 GB HDD anymore. I collected more DLC than that alone.

I don't imagine using up 250 GB's yet, but who knows. It's nice to have the option, although the largest drive you can put in a ps3 is 640 GB's.

I already have the MW2 250 GB console and I love it. I have 15 games installed to the HD and still have about 100 GB of free space.
