Playstation EYE for PS3 - How is it?

I am thinking of picking this up for my daughter in anticipation of EYEPET.

Is there any software or games to use with it at the moment that would make it worth a purchase right now.

    Thanks

I'll say not really, but there is the free movie creator you can pick up that my son loves. He likes to make stop motion videos with his transformers and star wars toys. It's really used in most games like a gimmick, kinda like sixaxis contorls are (was) used.

We play buzz quiz and it takes pictures over the course of games so that's kind fun to see, plus if you like to collect trophies there are a few that games require either an eye toy or PSeye to get one or two of them.

There is one cool thing I do with it but it requires remote play with a psp. I can turn on my ps3 from any hot spot with the psp, open up an eye toy app and see whats going on in the living room. I've done this when I'm out of town and call home, I can see the kids while I'm on the phone with them. Quirky but cool.

Oh wow LBP of course. How could I forget that! We just have the demo and my son loves taking pictures and putting them all over the levels!

We're getting LBP for him from the Easter bunny.

        Edit; and for Dad too.

I believe you will also need the Eye Toy to use Sony's upcoming motino controller, so there should DEFINITELY be some games for her to play with it down the road, similar to what the Wii has now.

Eye of Judgement is a great augmented reality game, with a solid online community. Its a card based game with strategy based game play. It's cheap and can double as a head set, it has 4 array mics on it and soon down the line if you get the motion controller you want need the PSeye because you'll already have it. Tiger Woods 11 will support it, that alone is enough for me to pick up the motion controller. My Wii envy for that game will be quenched.

Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.
