    Sony Bluetooth.

I wasn't really sure where to post this at.

I got my first BT Headset for the PS3 in 2008 with my copy of Socom. It lasted me almost two years and suddenly it started acting weird. I can plug it in and it appears to be charging, but as soon as I take it off the charger and turn it on, it powers up and then it does nothing. It won't sync with my ps3, I can't adjust the volume, I can't even turn it off. The only way to turn it off is to plug it back in to the charger and then all I can do is repeat the process.

I got a new one for Christmas and it's now doing the same exact thing. Is there something I could possibly try to fix it ? Has anyone else had this sort of problem out of theirs ? It's the Sony brand.

I take very good care of everything I own, and I haven't abused it. It sits in the same place every day near my ps3. I may end up just spending a little more next time around and getting a completely different brand that's more reliable.

I had the same thing happen to mine. Out of desperation I kept hitting the on/off button a million times and it must have done something because it started working again. Wish I could be more help.

      Re: Sony Bluetooth.

Thanks for the response, Chef. It's nice (but at the same time it's not) to know that I'm not the only one who has had issues with them.

I thought I had some good news today, when I finally lucked up and my headset started working half assed. It will hold a charge now (idk wtf was wrong with it), and I can hear it when It turns on/off and when I adjust the volume. I still can't get my PS3 to recognize it, though. I've tried going to my bluetooth devices and syncing it, but It won't pick it up.

      ugh

edit: shortly after I made this post, I finally got it to work after fooling with it off and on for days.
You can lock this thread up if you need to thanks.
