    Trouble connecting to network

I don't think this is a PSN issue, but an issue my PS3/router is having, but I don't know where else to get some quick help. Every time I attempt to download the new patch, I get about 3% downloaded and my router resets, and I lose connection, causing the download to time out. This is not the first time this has happened either. I had this issue when attempting to download the first MLB patch, and the Madden patches(all of which eventually just worked, but I dont know what allowed it to work). What suggestions might some of you have that could be causing this issue? I am not afraid to admit I know very little about this kind of thing, so any help you can offer is much appreciated. In case it matters, I have a Linksys router and the issue happens with both wired and wireless connections.

Go to the ps3's network settings and disable the media server connection. It gives many people problems, and is the quickest thing to test before digging into any router settings.
