My 360 is vertical. My PS3 is horizontal. I have the slim and it isn't made to stand vertically. I don't know of they have stands for them though.

Both 360's sit vertical, PS3 sits horizontal.

Horizontal. It doesn't fit in my TV stand vertically. (PS3, btw)

I've heard that vertical is better for your console, but I'm not sure if it's actually true.

Thats funny I have heard the reverse. Thats why I figured it would be a good question for this thread. I have mine horizontal but have always wondered about it being vertical.

360's sits vertical on my big computer workstaion/desk. I heard that the 360 vertical is better for heat and is less hard on the DVD drives.

I always wondered if it was better/worse to have the 360 vertical. I have it horizontal, perhaps I'll try and change and see if I notice any difference in relation to heat.

Heck after today, I have no clue anymore. Thinking about calling Sony this weekend to see what they say. With this new system I just might suspend it in mid air

that's if you play on knocking it over while you play. Plus downloading all your games to you 360 hdd is just golden, the disk isn't even spinning if you knock it over.


this is my setup, I don't think I will ever have an issue with heat, the system stays cool like the other side of the pillow and is in as an open area that it could ever be.
