I was playing GTA4 and a message just popped up telling me to turn off my system due to overheating. System was only on for about an hour. This happen to anyone before??? I'm the one overheating right now

I dusted this thing more than my furniture. I have never watched a movie or played it for more than 2 hours at a time. I did notice it was extremely warm to the touch. 1 more question. Make sure you have clearance on all sides and it is not on a carpet at all. If in an entertainment center, make sure you have the front open for ventilation.Comment

i dont think they will let u swap HDD. if they do then u dont have to worry about deleting it but if they dont then u need to delete it yourself or else whoever \ uses it next can access your information.
if u cant turn it on at least pull out the HDD and insert it back in because then the HDD will have to be reformatted again. therefore everything is wiped clean.
mines was dusty as hell and stopped working. im starting to think its because im black

The [Cusswords] at Best Buy would not let me swap my HD. They wanted to charge me $50 The Geek Squad. I lost everything.i dont think they will let u swap HDD. if they do then u dont have to worry about deleting it but if they dont then u need to delete it yourself or else whoever \ uses it next can access your information.

I bought the system on 12-6-09 They let me get a new system so all was not lost. The date on the new system is Feb 2010
