Re: E3 2010: Microsoft Conference
Motion crap is terrible, another reason I despise the Wii....Give me a damn controller. We've been using controllers since the beginning of gaming.
Now they want us to swing, jumping, spin around our living rooms to enjoy gaming. I'm sorry video games shouldn't be exhausting they should be fun, relaxing, and leisure.
When I get off work, I want to sit my sexy *** down with a nice and sexy controller all charged up and spank my buttons to a great game of 2k8, TDU, COD, etc.
Now work 10 hours at my job, come home and hop around for another 6 in gaming....Last edited by Behindshadows; 05-16-2010, 12:21 PM.Comment

Re: E3 2010: Microsoft Conference
I am intrigued with the potential of Natal because it has the tech and ability to enhance a game without taking the standard controller out of the gamer's hands. That to me is exciting and I think be implemented in time. However, at E3, I fully expect to see a slate of "Wii-like" motion controlled games.
Outside of Natal, interested to see if the 360 "slim" is real. I think it is personally, and will launch with Natal in the fall. I am looking forward to seeing campaign footage from Halo Reach at the show as well.Comment

I dont see why everyone gets mad. Everyone on these forums always complain about gamers need choices, well they give you one and you all still moan and groan. What gives?
Wii is not a gimmick. If it was, it would have faded by now and not be kicking the behinds of the other 2 consoles combined i bet.
BTW, i do NOT own a Wii.Comment

You stated it 3 times in this thread alone, it doesn't bother me, I don't care what anyone plays the games on. I'm just saying, your point got across with the first post.Comment

Re: E3 2010: Microsoft Conference
I was absolutely answering his question about why people get mad if they dont have to buy it. Simply one reason being their actual feedback is less of a priority to the gaming companies than a new invention akin to adding things to games people arent asking to be fixed
Anyhow thats the best or closest example I could think ofComment

Re: E3 2010: Microsoft Conference
I don't get why so many are so passionately opposed to the concept of Natal. It's not like Microsoft is sending the controller police to your house and confiscating anything with face buttons.
Natal will be a peripheral to the successful Xbox 360 platform. It's not a "this is going to replace what you know and love" type maneuver. This is clearly an attempt to add another layer to what gaming is for the 360. In no way is it what 3D type maps did for gaming or even how online has impacted how the games are played.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Re: E3 2010: Microsoft Conference
I'm just saying, after a long day of work, I want to sit down, not swing my arms and dance around the living room to play my games. It's just stupid! And if I just stood 10 hours on my feet treading a floor, I want to get off my feet once I get home, that's what I mean from exhaustion.
This is why you have an option to buy a wii, ps3 or 360 and when Natal and when Sony's hit, you do not have to buy.

Personally I don't like my Wii, because of how you have to play the games. It gets boring real quick and its only fun for so long.
Microsoft needs to focus on remodeling the consoles, instead of wasting dollars on Natal...Fix RROD and other issues. They have the best gaming console out right now. Why not fix hardware errors, instead of adding innovations we don't want, nor need...Last edited by Behindshadows; 05-16-2010, 12:29 PM.Comment

Re: E3 2010: Microsoft Conference
Natal could end up being a dud, but MS feels it will expand the 360 market. They dropped a billion dollars years ago to deal with the RROD, have been revising the hardware all along, and have still been pulling in plenty of sales. We may even get a slim at some point, so it's not like they're sitting around laughing at selling people faulty consoles, it's not 2006 anymore.Comment
