Ask them why the hell we can't watch their videos in Canada.

They have freaking standard compliance policies that are stupid.

It doesnt really work for all of the companies that they own as a global policy, but its more of a cover for their butt, the rest of it is either a money thing or just being out of touch.

They have seperate policies on how they operate in Canada because of the laws there than from the US, even if we're both considered North America

All i really want is the ability to organize my friends list, I want to put my real friends in one catagory, friends I met online in another, and OS people in a OS Catagory. Seriously Microsoft, how has this not been done yet?

A general "guide menu" redesign would be nice. That thing is SLOW, and is just a mess in general.

Hulu plans to charge, expand to devices: sources

(Reuters) - Free video website Hulu plans to soon begin charging customers and is looking to expand its content to consumer devices like the Xbox and iPad, according to two sources, as the site's media owners experiment with platforms beyond an ad-supported TV model.

Those sources and another with knowledge of the matter said that Hulu, the website for TV viewing owned by News Corp, General Electric's NBC Universal and Walt Disney Co, was developing a subscription service to be rolled out on multiple devices in the next month or two. It was not clear if that service would be offered before Hulu is available on devices.

One of those devices is expected to be Microsoft Corp's Xbox, which also features Netflix Inc's movie streaming service, one of the sources said on Tuesday. Another one of the sources said Hulu was also working to offer its service on Apple Inc's iPad.

What programs do they think they will charge for? Do they think they can charge for network tv shows? If they charge me to watch last weeks episode of The Office for example, I'm just going to watch it on NBC's website for free.

For this to merit me paying for it, they are going to have to include worthwhile programming. I have the programming I want on TV and can DVR it. The concept of HULU streaming over the 360 is nice, but that's a novelty.

I'm at the point to where I can dismiss cable or DTV if a service like HULU can meet my viewing needs. If they go the way of so/so movies like Netflix, this won't be worth it for me.

Hulu needs to start streaming shows in HD as well.

they pretty much have to if they want to seriously monetize the service.

Yeah, sometimes the most basic of things is neglected for such a long time.

Apparently, the original Xbox games prevented Live from having more than 100 friends. Microsoft claims there is a bunch of features they can add with the restrictions from the original xbox games support gone.
