It's interesting because the 360 went forward with it's slim design to that of the original PS3 design; piano black, chrome, touch sensitive buttons while the slim version of the PS3 went to the old 360 design.

I'll probably call the two Gamestops around me tomorrow morning and see when they're actually expecting to get them in-store...and then try and figure out how to fit it into my budget.

I'm such a sucker

one 360 that we hardly use anymore is going in for trade (older chipset) giving my elite to my step-son and selling his white Falcon for cash and picking this bad boy up Friday...

I can put my wifi adapter on the shelf (or $24 trade), activate N in my router and now hook up the other USB devices that I want all while looking slightly less like an old game geek with this on my table.

This came at a perfect time. I was just shopping Ebay for a Elite and then got on LIVE. To saw the video about the new 360. Whooooohooooo I know what I am getting instead!!!!!

The new box is looking really badass. I love the gloss look.

Anyway, I had a day 1 launch 20 gig. It has held strong and oddly enough even with the most outdated chip only red ringed ONCE!!

I was already planning to throw it in the living room for netflix and stuff then put a new xbox in my "man cave". Now the decision was made and I am going to do away with hardline and go wifi with it.

I am a die hard PC guy and always trust hardline over wifi anyday. but I have just so damn many wires now. I am just looking for a fast option to game on and make the space look much cleaner.

The more i think about it and MS's press conference....

i am really probably excited about the whole ESPN thing they brought on that could be interesting.

I could see this XBOX360 slim being in a price cut by the holiday's and being bundled with "Kinect" which would probably be the smart thing for me to wait for to buy.

I want more MS exclusives and more studios from MS if that makes sense i am tired of Halo and Gears every year i want more adventure games and other type of concepts
