Where'd you order from FF? Also, there's a Amazon warehouse in Lexington KY, do you all think that's where it'd ship from?

Re: E3 2010: Microsoft Conference
Well, I have Kinect locked up. I was the first reserve at my store ($50 down) and have one at GS.com and BB.com reserved. Going to keep them reserved for now, just want to make sure I get one. Can obviously cancel at anytime. Gamestop had the SKU for the bundle, but it wouldn't reserve.
My store also said 4 360's on Friday, seems to be the norm.Comment

New trade up bonus from GS starting tomorrow
hey for US (and maybe NA?) here is a Gamestop trade in trade up deal when trading toward the New 360 250GB
Quote:
The deal is good for a console with either a wired OR wireless controller. Also, it appears that accessories are being bumped up in value for trading towards a Slim. The values are as follows:
console only with 1 controller and connectors $100
20 GB HDD - $30
60 GB HDD - $35
120 GB HDD - $40
250 GB HDD - $45
64MB Card - $10
256MB Card - $14
512MB Card - $18
Wireless G Adaptor - $40
Wireless N Adaptor DISC REQUIRED - $50
Wired Controller - $20
Wireless Controller - $25
Promo begins on Thursday and could last as long as three weeks. However, there is no expiration listed in the e-mail.Comment

Re: E3 2010: Microsoft Conference
I don't know if I'm the only one, but I'm not sold on the way the new 360 looks. It looks... clunky, in a way. Sure, I'll probably get one for the large amount of storage and the ease in getting Kinect set up, but it's not the sexiest thing I've ever seen, nor is it better than the original 360.
If the interior hardware is more dependable I will be a happy camper. Still debating buying this as I'm still nervous about that.Last edited by NINJAK2; 06-16-2010, 03:42 PM.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Hmm, $155 is better than I'd probably get selling my old near-launch console online...Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

I certainly did not mean that it was the only thing I was looking at. I was only commenting on how people found it sexy and amazing looking.Rose City 'Til I Die

Re: E3 2010: Microsoft Conference
Just want to make sure I get one. Now that I have 3 guaranteed units (hopefully), it won't be hard to find at all.
I'm first at my store, but God knows what can happen. If it's October and for sure I'm getting one in store, I'll cancel the 2 online ones. Just want to get it.Comment

BTW I went out and bought something to make all the transfers. Will something like this work? It only cost me $14.99

No, it's just that sort of venting is hilarious to see for what's 2005 technology. It's going to be blowing air out directly from the GPC/CPU heatsink and fan. Seriously seems like they're overly sensitive to the problem they used to have.

Just get like a 8 GB usb stick for cheap and transfer stuff over. You also have the option to redownload things again.Comment
