Where can i buy a transfer cable? Any where else besides Ebay? I don't like using them. Like best buy,gamestop,walmart etc?

Is this hard to do? I plan on replacing my old 20gb with one of the new design 360s.

If you have a flash drive, you actually do not need to by the transfer kit. I just picked up a new 360 S and have an old Elite I replaced it with. I used my WD Smartware flash drive (24 gig) and transferred all of my data without issue. If you have at least an 8 or 12 gig flash, you will be able to do the transfer in a snap.

Technically you could just use a 2gb flash drive. Unless you transferring over a lot of dynasties. Gamer profile and 99% of game saves aren't huge at all.

Yup. Just did this for my son's...he's upgrading to the new 360.

Yep people going out buying 16gb and 32gb usb drives is just a huge waste of money.

Profile is under 1 meg
most game saves are under 1 meg
system data is under 1 meg

the only thing on a hdd over a gig is demos and you can always redownload demos

Yep I just transfer my contents using a 4 gig usb drive. I did it in two trips.
