WOW! I can't believe the numbers being so low this month.........especially with UFC selling under 500K on both systems combined.Comment

Wii, 360, and PS3 are actually up over last May. Yeah, big drop-off for UFC 2010 compared 2009 (600K less). Really poor software sales outside of RDR, even Mario Galaxy 2 underperformed expectations.

Racing Games Crash and Burn
The debuts of several high-profile racing titles were shockingly low for the month of May.
ModNation Racers (Sony), Split/Second (Disney), and Blur (Activision) failed to light up U.S. sales charts. ModNation Racers, a PlayStation 3 exclusive, was the only new racing title to crack the top 15, while debuts from Blur and Split/Second - both multiplatform titles - were out of the top 30.
"I actually thought the ModNation number was respectable, since the game came out only on May 25, Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pacther told IGN. "Blur came out the same day, so also not much time, but a lot more hype and advertising, so the numbers are pretty disappointing."
"Split/Second came out a week earlier, and sold around the same as Mod Nation on two platforms, so that's pretty sad," he added.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

well it's on the list, but really lame how NPD only showed numbers for three games.
Of those, UFC is way lower than what it did last year. I know EA MMA is coming soon, but THQ may want to pump the brakes on the yearly UFC game stuff.Comment

Isn't this the slow season for game sales, though? The 2nd and 3rd quarters of the year typically don't bring a lot of blockbusters.New Jersey Devils- 1995, 2000, 2003
New York Giants- 1927, 1934, 1938, 1956, 1986, 1990, 2007.
