I'm looking to get a new TV FOR MY Room what size would you recommend? I just need it for my basic video gaming needs.

In my opinion, the two most important factors are how far back you'll be sitting and how much light is in the room. I purchase only Sony or Samsung TV's and I've had great luck with our 46 inch and 50 inch LCDs.
How far away from the tv will your couch be? Unless space is an issue, the rule of thumb that has worked for me is to always by 5 inches bigger than you originally wanted. Nothing worse than getting home from Best Buy, setting it up, and then wishing it was just a little larger. -

I have a 37" Vizio Xvt and got it at Sams for a decent price... I love the Tv for me...Black levels aren't well Black... It's not high end but worked well when I had my Ps3... Size is perfect for a small to medium room..Comment
